Ashok Selvan has wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film
Nitham Oru Vaanam
, which is directed by newcomer
Ra Karthik
. The film, a movie involving a journey, both external and internal, has three female leads —
Ritu Varma,
Aparna Balamurali and
Shivathmika Rajashekar.

Cheers and love :) #NithamOruVaanam #Aakasham," shared Ashok Selvan on his social media handle, and also posted a pic of the film's cast and crew cutting a cake to mark the end of shooting.
The actor will have three different looks in this film, whose story begins in Chennai and ends here as well, but will move to Hyderabad, Vizag, Delhi, Chandigarh, Manali, Kolkata and Pollachi.
"The story happens across three landscapes and three timelines, and will be about staying positive in life," Karthik had told us previously. While Ritu Varma will be seen as a modern girl, Aparna Balamurali will appear as a village girl. Shivathmika Rajashekar is playing a college girl in the film.
Vidhu Ayyana, who shot Oh My Kadavuley, is the cinematographer of the film while Gopi Sundar, who is known for Bangalore Days, Charlie, Thozha and Geetha Govindam, is its music director.
Ashok Selvan, whose recent release was the
Venkat Prabhu adult comedy
Manmadha Leelai
, also has the campus caper
Hostel
lined up for release
