The shoot for Santhanam’s next with director

kick-started yesterday on the special occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The film, is said to be an action comedy, for which
Santhanam is learning Silambam from action choreographer Stun Silva. Interestingly, Santhanam had earlier worked in Kannan’s Jayam Kondaan and Kanden Kadhalai, albeit as a comedian. His comedy track in both films drew a lot of attention. However, this is the first time he will be playing the lead in a film directed by Kannan.
In the meantime, Santhanam is awaiting the release of Server Sundaram. His last releases were Dhillukku Dhuddu and A1: Accused No.1. On the other hand,
director Kannan
’s last outing was Boomerang which starred Atharvaa, Megha Akash and Indhuja Ravichandran. The film is expected to hit screens on February 2020.
