Vani Bhojan, was busy at work in a newly constructed flat. The place was quite a mess with shards of glass, a broken remote and more on the floor. And then we realised that it was all for the shot, which involved Bharath dragging Vani, who had the tough task of playing a corpse, into another room. Even as they took a couple of takes to can this sequence, we got busy talking to the cast and crew about the film and the shoot...
‘I’m confident that I have chosen a good script for my 50th film’This is a happy moment for me because this is my 50th film. It’s been a long journey. It’s a very compact film that we are going to wrap up in 15-17 days. It’s an emotional family drama that takes place inside an apartment. You could also call this a thriller. Ours is a young team and we are working towards giving a good film. I’m confident that I’ve chosen a good script for my 50th film, which makes it, personally, an important film for me.
– Bharath, lead actor‘Bharath is very comfortable to work with’It’s a drama that happens between a husband and wife, and it’s very interesting. The team is going to wrap up my portions in just eight to nine days because they are very clear on what they are doing. I’ve already done a film with Bharath, which is ready for release. He’s more like a friend and very comfortable to work with.
– Vani Bhojan, lead actress‘A Suspense thriller within a family drama setup’I did not know that I’d be directing Bharath's 50th film, though I’ve been in discussion with him for over one-and-a-half years. I narrated quite a few scripts, but he was looking for something special as he wanted to give something better than Kalidas, his previous hit film. One day, I narrated this one-line and he said we could proceed with this. Surprisingly, it turned out to be his 50th film. I am very happy about that. Bharath’s performance has been very good. Vani Bhojan’s very presence is turning many films into a success. The film will be technically strong. There will be a suspense thriller within a family drama set up. People will be surprised by the unexpected manner in which the climax connects the previous events in the film. It will definitely be a treat for the audiences.

I had previosuly shot his Kanden Kadhalai and Aintham Thalaimurai Siddha Vaithiya Sigamani. Since the entire story happens inside a flat, we’ve created a unique flat. It’s a complicated film to work on for this reason. We have built small tracks, got smaller equipment to work effectively within this setup.
