Shilpa recounts her Ladakh adventures

, set to release, Shilpa Manjunath is one excited the girl. The actress plays Tara, a no-nonsense woman, in the film, and is paired opposite Harish Kalyan in this Renjit Jayakodi film.

While most part of this intense romantic entertainer was shot in Chennai, Shilpa tells us that team did experience some thrilling moments while filming some sequences in

Ladakh

. She says, “I have always wanted to do this Manali-Leh expedition and have searched for a group to take this expedition with. Unfortunately, my gang of girls was not very sportive, so I could never do this trip. I’m so fortunate that I finally realised this dream while shooting for the film.”

Shilpa continues, “I’m a sports enthusiast. Between clubbing and playing volleyball or swimming, I’d definitely choose the latter. So, this Ladakh schedule of the film was truly a blessing in disguise. We had to trek mountains for a few scenes, and there used to be competition between us – who’ll reach the spot first. For certain scenes, we had to stand on the edge of a cliff. There used to be such strong winds that the assistants had to hold me, Harish and the DOP Kavin from our knees! If we slip, it would have been difficult to find our bones! It was super risky, super challenging, super exciting, and the end product is very beautiful.”
