Shibu Thammens bags the Kerala theatrical rights of Vishal’s ‘Irumbu Thirai’

Actor Vishal’s upcoming film ‘Irumbu Thirai’, directed by Mithran has created a lot of buzz online recently. Movie stills and the recently released motion poster of the film have been received extremely well by the audience. The latest news is that Shibu Thameens, a renowned distributor and producer of ‘Puli’ and ‘Iru Mugan’ fame has snapped the Kerala theatrical rights of the action thriller ‘Irumbu Thirai’ for a whopping price.The film is set to hit screens during Pongal 2018.
Vishal Film Factory’s facebook post announced this saying, “God's own Country, Kerala's distribution rights of Vishal's New gen action Thriller, "Irumbuthirai" has been bought by Shibu of Thameens Films. After the monumental success of Thupparivaalan & Villan, the market for Vishal in Malayalam industry has grown several folds. Irumbu Thirai is slated for a grand Pongal festival release”.
While Samantha plays the love interest of Vishal, ‘Action King’ Arjun will play the antagonist. The cast of the film also includes veteran actor Delhi Ganesh and comedian Robo Shankar.
