The actor has now called out a social media user for spreading fake news about him.

A couple of days back Shanthnu shut up a troll for trolling him with fake National award template with his name. Shanthnu has now called out a person for spreading false information. The user had shared a post claiming Shanthnu and his father Bhagyaraj rejected Boys, Kalavani, Subramaniapuram, Kaadhal. Shanthnu posted, ‘Now once u have spread wrong information, can u spread the right info to each n everyone who saw this post ? Because of baseless rumours spread by ppl like you ,public tend to believe it ... NONE OF THESE WERE “REJECTED” (sic)’
