Online promotions of a Malayalam actor entering Tamil cinema grabbed major attention on social media, and the makers have finally revealed the name of the actor. It's none other than Shane Nigam, who is popular for his Malayalam films 'Kumbalangi Nights', 'Ishq', 'Bhoothakaalam', and 'RDX'. The promising Malayalam actor is making his Tamil debut with the film titled 'Madraskaaran', and the film's promo video was unveiled by Dulquer Salman. Dulquer Salman is the right person to launch Shane Nigam, as the Malayalam actor has rightly placed himself in the hearts of Tamil audiences through the success of his Tamil films.
Directed by Vaali Mohan Das of 'Rangoli' fame, 'Madraskaaran' features Shane Nigam in the main role, Kalaiyarasan, and Niharika Konidela in crucial roles. Sundaramurthy will be scoring the music for the film, while the cinematography is to be handled by Prassana S Kumar.
Reported to be a complete action film, 'Madraskaaran' will also have an emotional connection, and it will be dealing with an emotional issue of a youngster. Planned to be shot mostly in Madurai, the story of the film will be about a youngster from Chennai shifting to Madurai. The shooting of the film is to begin shortly, and the makers are planning to release the film in theatres in 2024.
