Selvaraghavan's 'Bakasuran' certified U/A

Director Selvaraghavan made his acting debut with the film ‘Beast’. He also gave an extraordinary performance in ‘Saani Kaayidham’ directed by Arun Matheswaran. Selvaraghavan is now acting in the film ‘Bakasuran’ which is directed by Mohan G. Billed as a thriller, the film’s trailer was well received by audiences.
The film has now been certified U/A by the censor board. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release in February this year.The movie makers are yet to announce the tentative release dates. The movie stars Selvaraghavan, Natarajan, Radha Ravi, Mansoor Ali khan, Devadarshini, Cool Suresh among others. The music for the movie is composed by Sam CS.
The movie went on grounds in April last year and the shooting was wrapped up by July 2022. The makers had earlier planned for a release in September 2022 but it got delayed as the post-production work of the film was still underway. ‘Bakasuran’ is the fourth film directed by Mohan, and his fame rose after he directed the films ‘Draupadi’ and ‘Rudra Thandavam’ in Tamil.
On the work front, Selvaraghavan last directed the film ‘Naane Varuven’ featuring Dhanush in the lead role which was critically acclaimed as a psycho-thriller.
