Selvamani dons the greasepaint

Director R K Selvamani is all set to prove his mettle as an actor in his forthcoming film, Akhila.
���������I play a character who fights for his people. He doesn���������t hesitate to voice his views on issues. Akhila is a film that will deal with people of our country who don���������t realize their strength. I had approached a few actors for the role, but they were apprehensive to accept and wanted to make a few changes in it.I wasn���������t ready for it,��������� he says.
Selvamani has already shot a part of his portion. ���������Three more days of work are remaining,��������� he informs.
