Simbu is gearing up for the release of his film 'pathu Thala' which is set to release in theatres on March 30. Directed by Obeli N Krishna, the film features Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Simbu in lead roles and the supporting cast includes Santhosh Prathap and Gautham Vasudev Menon. Earlier, director Obeli Krishna reportedly stated that actors Arya and Sayeesha will be appearing in a cameo roles. It has now been revealed that actress Sayeesha is performing a sexy number in the film.
The film's audio and trailer launch was held on March 18 and the audio jukebox of the film was launched along with the trailer. Fans who were excited to see Sayeesha on screen after two years, took to social media to share photos of the actress performing a dance number in the film. The caption to the post of the fan read that the images, though not clear, were taken during the movie trailer launch.

'Pathu Thala' is one of the anticipated movies of Simbu this year as he plays a negative shade in the movie. If the movie becomes a hit, it will be a hat-trick hit for the actor following 'Maanaadu' and 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu'. Simbu plays the role of AGR, an underworld gangster in the movie. The film is inspired by the Kannada movie 'Mufti'.
