Sathyaraj's 'Theerpugal Virkapadum' team to celebrate Pongal in Dubai

Sathyaraj was last seen in Jyothika and Karthi starrer 'Thambi'. Next up, Sathyaraj has signed up for 'Theerpugal Virkapadum', which is written and directed by debutant Dheeran. The production of the bilingual was recently wrapped up and the team wil now be travelling to Dubai. Sathyarajm director Dheeran and the entire crew is planning to celebrate Pongal grandly with the Tamilians there.

Sathyaraj, who will be seen essaying the role a gynecologist, will avenge the death of his daughter. 'Thadam' fame Smruthi Venkat essays the role of Sathyaraj's daughter in the film. 'Theerpugal Virkapadum' is based on a true event and is produced by Sajeev Meerasahib Rawther. Madhusudhan Rao, Harish Uthaman, Renuka will be seen in prominent roles in the film. The action sequences in 'Theerpugal Virkapadum' are choreographed by Dinesh Subbarayan. The film is titled 'Emergency' in Telugu and is expected to hit the big screen in summer.

Meanwhile, Sathyaraj's Telugu film 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' starring Allu Arjun as the lead, directed by Trivikram Srinivas is slated to release on January 12, 2020.
