'Angaaragan', featuring Sreepathy in the main role, is getting ready for release, and the team addressed the press to build some buzz for the film. Veteran actor Sathyaraj plays a crucial role in the film, and he was also present for the press meet of 'Angaaragan'. While speaking at the event, Sathyaraj opened up about the controversies surrounding Rajinikanth's 'Superstar' title and who will be the next Superstar. Sathyaraj explained that for the last 45 years, Rajinikanth has only come to people's minds when we think of the Superstar title. Several leading actors own different titles, but some titles are strictly suitable for some people, and we cannot give them to other stars.
Thiyagaraja Bhagavathar, MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, and Ajith all have their respective titles, and we cannot take their titles to use for another. So, he feels that the titles of actors should not be changed, and for him, it's Rajinikanth who will be the superstar forever. Sathyaraj's latest words praising Rajinikanth have also put an end to reports that claim a conflict between the two popular actors.
Sathyaraj's mother, Nathambal, passed away last week on August 11 due to aging reasons, but the actor, who follows the principles of Periyar, has broken the regular following to make his presence known for the press meet of 'Angaaragan'.
Sathyaraj plays the antagonist in 'Angaaragan', which is directed by Mohan Dachu, the former associate of director Ram Gopal Varma. Sathyaraj has accepted to do the film as his character has a lot of coverage. Sathyaraj currently has almost 20 films on hand, and he is working across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam movies.
