' fame made headlines on Saturday after his name turned up in a money laundering
case. According to reports, the actor's name was being misused by a group of people involved in an employment scam.
The group of people reportedly created fake accounts in the actor's name and even extorted money. Vineeth was alerted about the scam through his friend, who was also targetted by the group.
On hearing about the same, Vineeth was shocked and filed a complaint with the DGP of Police. The scam involves using his family pictures and social media profiles scam people. Vineeth has requested the police take quick action and bring the culprits to justice.
The actor also asked fans and friends to be aware of such fraudulent mobs.
