Sarkunam gets threats to not release film?

, has been postponed due to a case filed by Dhanalakshmi productions. The stay has now been lifted and the makers are working on the film’s release.

In the meantime, we hear that Sarkunam has a filed a complaint at Chennai Commissioner’s office, in which he has stated that despite getting a clearance from the court and the film is expected to release, he has been receiving death threats asking him to not release the film. Sarkunam has requested the commissioner to take action against those people.

Sarkunam has earlier directed acclaimed films like

Kalavani

and Vaagai Sooda Vaa, both with Vemal. He had also directed films like Naiyandi starring Dhanush and Chandi Veeran starring Atharvaa.
