On the occasion of ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s birthday today, his fans were in for a surprise when the makers of the forthcoming film ‘Sarkar’ released two new posters at midnight. Both the posters have stylish looking Vijay sporting an intense look.
Wishing ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay on his birthday, the makers took to Twitter to unveil the posters. After much speculation, the makers have locked the release date of ‘Sarkar’, which is slated to release on Diwali this year. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film has been shot in places like Kolkata and Chennai. Reportedly, the makers will head to the US to shoot an important sequence featuring Vijay and Keerthy Suresh, who plays the leading lady.
‘Sarkar’, which is tipped to be a political thriller, has Vijay reportedly plays a business tycoon. However, nothing has been confirmed yet. It must be noted that the first look of ‘Sarkar’ became extremely popular on the internet when it was released and was seen doing rounds on the internet.
Made on a lavish budget by Sun Pictures, ‘Sarkar’ stars
