‘Sarkar’: Johnny Tri Nguyen not part of Vijay’s film

Recently, reports were doing the rounds that the Vietnamese-American actor Johnny Tri Nguyen was roped in for ‘Sarkar’ and that he would be locking the horns with Vijay. ​​​​​However, sources close to the team have denied the news and clarified that Johnny Tri Nguyen is not a part of ‘Sarkar’.

In fact, reports suggest that the makers will be wrapping up the India portions in a week’s time, after which the team will be heading to US to shoot some important sequences.

Notably, Johnny Tri Nguyen is best known for playing the menacing villain in Suirya starrer ‘Ezham Arivu’. ‘Sarkar’, which went on the floors earlier this year, is expected to wrapped sometime in August. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, the film marks Vijay’s third collaboration with the blockbuster director.
Being made on a lavish budget by Sun Pictures, ‘Sarkar’ is reported to be a political-drama that stars Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi, Pala Karuppiah and Yogi Babu among others.
With AR Rahman’s music, the film is all set to hit the screens on this Diwali.
