Santhanam's 'Parris Jeyaraj' is all set to hit the screens on February 12

', directed by Johnson K, has been busy with promotional activities for a while now, what with them releasing singles from the film (music is by Santhosh Narayanan). Now, the team has announced that the film will hit the screens on February 12.

The film, which has Santhanam in the role of a gaana singer, is a fun romantic comedy. Anaika Soti and Sastika will play female leads in the film, along with Sandy, who plays an important role in the film. Johnson announced his project with Santhanam early last year. It was supposed to be a gangster drama, but Johnson decided to do that film later and instead came up with a quirky subject.

In an interview with us earlier, Johnson said, "Paris Jeyaraj will see Santhanam in the role of a gaana singer, located in namma Parrys Corner. How would it be if a gaana singer falls in love? The ups and downs in his life forms the crux. Anaika plays a college student, while Sastika is a working professional in the film. Many had pointed out that 'A1' (their earlier combo)... didn't really have a proper story, but this one is proper family drama."
