Santhanam's KLTA on top!

Among the films that hit the screens this Ponfgal, Kanna Laddu Thinna Asaiya, produced by Rama Narayanan and Santhanam, has taken a big leap and is the big Pongal winner after being declared as massive hit. Udhayanidhi Stalin, the distributor of the film, has come out with the revenue statistics of KLTA and this has everyone surprised.
The comedy caper, inspired by yesteryear Bhgiyaraj hit Indru Poi Naalai Va has become the big hit.Interestingly, KLTA was made on a first copy basis at 3 crores and it has recovered that cost within the first three days of release. The first three-day collections at the box office are approximately 3.76 crores.
Udhayanidhi tweeted "KLTA! 1st 3 days collection for TN theatrical is 6,80,65,560 nd distributor share is 3,75,98,768! Frm dis Friday shifting 2 bigger screens."
Udhayanidhi has also confirmed that KLTA will be moving over to bigger screens from tomorrow onwards and some more screens will be added. The film which was initially released in 205 screens in Tamil Nadu on January 13, due to word of mouth became an instant super hit.
