The comedian-turned-hero, Santhanam has an interesting line-up of films, and his latest outing 'Agent Kannayiram' has locked its OTT release. Santhanam was last seen in the comedy thriller 'Agent Kannayiram', which was directed by Manoj Beedha, and the film was released in theatres in the last week of November. 'Agent Kannayiram' is now gearing up for digital release. The film will start streaming on a popular OTT platform from tomorrow (Dec 23).
'Agent Kannayiram' is the Tamil remake of the Telugu superhit film 'Agent Athreya' and the film turned out to be a better remake as it received positive reviews from critics and audiences. Santhanam reprised Naveen Polishetty's role in the remake version to play as a detective agent, and he looked stylish in his never before avatar. Riya Suman plays the female lead, while Pugazh, Munishkanth, Redin Kingsley, E Ramdas, Indhumathy, Madhan Dhakshinamoorthy, and Aadhira play important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja scored the music and his background score added more power to the film.
Meanwhile, Santhanam will be next seen in 'Kick', which is directed by Prashanth Raj, and the film is getting ready to release in theatres soon. Santhanam has also reunited with his 'Dhilluku Dhuddu' team for the third time, post the success of parts 1 and 2, and he started dubbing for his portions for the film a week ago.
