Santhanam in a dual role!

It is going to be double the laughs for fans of Santhanam in Pattathu Yaanai, which stars Vishal and Aishwarya (actor Arjun���s daughter) in lead roles. The ace comedian is playing a dual role for the first time in his career in this film directed by Bhoopathy Pandian, who is known for the comedy sequences in his films.
Says the director, ���The film is set in Trichy and is about a young cook whose dreams of starting a hotel.Santhanam is playing the role of a father and a son named Poongavanam (whose father���s name is Brindavanam) and Gouravam respectively. Like the film���s lead actor Vishal, Santhanam too plays a cook and one of his characters is responsible for Vishal���s ambition of starting a hotel.���
The director also adds that for the first time, Santhanam has gone for a new look as well but declines to reveal what it will be. ���Let it be a surprise,��� he quips.
The Pattathu Yaanai team is currently shooting for a dream song sequence involving the lead pair at Kovalam Beach on East Coast Road. A special set has been erected using sand sculpting techniques at the tourist spot for this song which is being choreographed by Raju Sundaram.
