Sanjana Singh, who has done around 30 movies in her career, says she has played a one-of-its-kind of role in
Dim Dip
, her upcoming
film which has her cast opposite ‘Power Star’
Srinivasan. According to her, the movie is based on a true story, and the actress has a scene in which she murders a crucial character in the film.
“I haven’t committed a murder on screen — it was frightening to perform the scene, which involved my character stabbing a person. Though I had director Anand besides me, giving instructions, it was quite scary. Unlike a few of my previous movies, this one has me in a very serious role,” she says.
Sanjana, who is also a part of
Sillunu Oru Kadhal
fame TN Krishna’s Telugu flick
Hippi
, starring Kartikeya of RX 100, is kicked about the project. She says, “I play Kartikeya’s sister in the film — it’s a crucial part of the movie. In fact, the story begins and ends with my character.” The film has Nivas K Prasanna scoring the music and RD Rajasekar handling the cinematography.
