She also said that if Rajinikanth is a sanghi he should have not done 'Lal Salaam'.
Rajinikanth has now responded to Aishwarya Rajinikanth's speech at the 'Lal Salaam' audio launch. Rajinikanth addressed the media at the Chennai airport today (Jan 29) as he left for Kadapa for the shooting of his upcoming film 'Vettaiyan'. During the interaction, Rajinikanth was questioned about Aishwarya's speech stating he as not a Sanghi. Rajinikanth said that Sanghi is not a bad word and she just spoke from her heart, not for the film promotion. Rajinikanth further added that 'Lal Salaam' has come well, and asked the audience to share their opinion on the film.
Rajinikanth's off-screen statements made the actor face social media trolls, but he always received strong support from his fans. Snippets from Rajinikanth's speech at the 'Lal Salaam' audio launch are also going viral on the internet, and the Superstar actor has opened up about comparisons between him and Vijay. He said that he knows Vijay from his childhood, and he never considered the junior as his competitor, while the latter also has a huge respect.
