Sanga Tamizhan confirms Deepavali release

There have been speculations doing the round that Vijay Sethupathi’s film with Sketch director Vijay Chandar, Sanga Tamizhan, will release for Deepavali. Now, we have it that the film is indeed going to release in the festive weekend, with the makers calling it a ‘Diwali Kondattam’’.
A source says, “Sanga Tamizhan has Vijay Sethupathi donning dual roles for the first time, and the film, a massy entertainer, has Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Pethuraj in the leads.The team released the first look in May, and its teaser recently. They have also released Kamala, a single from the film, on Saturday. And today, Vijaya Productions, which is producing the film, has tweeted, ‘#SangaThamizhan Diwali Kondattam! @VijaySethuOffl @vijayfilmaker’.”
The film also stars Nasser, John Vijay, Soori, Ashutosh Rana in important roles. While Vivek-Mervin have composed the music, cinematographer-director Velraj has handled the camera.
