It is known that actress Samyuktha Menon is playing leading lady in Dhanush’s upcoming bilingual film titled ‘Vaathi’, which is helmed by Venky Atluri. The pretty actress has spoken about actor Dhanush during the promotion of her upcoming Malayalam film 'Kaduva' starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead.
Talking about actor Dhanush on the sets of her upcoming film 'Vaathi', Samyuktha Menon said, "Dhanush is always quiet on the set and reading books. But when the director says action he is in the character just like that in no time. He known to A to Z about cinema. Be it action, dance or acting, it's just one take for him. He will do it so perfectly."
Bankrolled by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments, the Tamil-Telugu bilingual 'Vaathi' is said to be an ambitious journey of a common man, which has Dhanush playing a role of college teacher. The film is said to be a period social drama that revolves around the education mafia and highlights one young man’s fight against the privatisation of education.
While GV Prakash has been roped in to compose music for the film, the technical team includes Dinesh Krishnan handling the cinematography and Navin Nooli in-charge of editing.
