Samyuktha Hegde to pair up with Prabhudeva

We told you that actor-turned-director Harikumar will be making a film, titled '

Theal

', with Prabhudeva in the lead. The director has now finalised Sandalwood actress Samyuktha Hegde as the female lead and roped in Eshwari Rao to essay an important role in the film.

“I’ve seen some of Samyuktha’s films and she is a very good performer. She is also a dancer, and that is a requisite for the character she is playing. Samyuktha is also very happy that she’s finally doing a film with Prabhudeva,” says Harikumar.

On Eshwari Rao’s role, she says, “That’s a very important role. I had her in mind when I wrote the script. But I do not want to divulge any more details on this character right now as it will spoil the suspense. She even adjusted her dates to accommodate this project.”

Yogi Babu, too, has been roped in for the film. The team has begun shooting in Chennai. “We have started with a song shoot. Prabhudeva will be joining the team on October 25,” says Harikumar.
