Samuthirakani's 'Vellai Yaanai' to have an OTT release

, starring Samuthirakani in lead role. While the film was planned as a theatrical release, the latest is that 'Vellai Yaanai' will be premiering directly on a popular Tamil channel first.

platform as well. The film has Manam Kothi Paravai fame Athmiya as Samuthirakani's pair and also stars Yogi Babu, SS Stanley, Ramadoss, Bava Chellathurai, Saranya Ravichandran.

The film is an agriculture based script and talks about the issues faced by farmers. S Vinodh Kumar is producing Vellai Yaanai under his Mini Studios banner, while Santhosh Narayanan is composing music for the film and R Jagadeesan is handling the camera.
