Samuthirakani's Thiru Manickam to release on December 20

Director-turned-actor Samuthirakani's upcoming film 'Thiru Manickam' directed by Nanda Periyasamy, who last helmed 'Anandham Vilayadum Veedu', is all set to hit the screens. While the dubbing work for the was completed earlier in February, the makers have announced that the film will release on December 20, 2024.
The film also stars Bharathiraja, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Chaams, Vadivukarasi, and Ilavarasu, among others with music by composer Vishal Chandrasekar.

Bankrolled by GPRK Productions, the film is said to be a societal drama set against the backdrop of Papanasam. The technical team includes M Sukumar handling the cinematography, and SP Raja Sethupathi in charge of the editing.
