Samuthirakani plays an activist in his next

Samuthirakani, who has his directorial Naadodigal 2 and a few other projects up for release, will be seen playing a lawyer-cum-activist in director Keera’s Para. The film narrates the consequences of an encounter operation, which affects a couple, played by Shaju Mon and Chandini.
“Samuthirakani’s character is crucial in the movie as it is his role which helps the lead pair when they get affected by an incident.He lends a helping hand to them when they face social and political problems. A few scenes in Para will remind the audience of real incidents that happened in our society. Shot in places like Nagercoil and Royapuram, the film has five more days of production left, that includes a song, too,” Keera says.
