Samantha takes up green challenge; plants three saplings

Of late,

actress Samantha

seems to be quite clued in about eco causes. Going by her recent posts, she’s seen trying her hands at different things that are eco-friendly. A few days ago, she shared a post, talking about bio enzyme and how she learnt about it from her friend. She even explained what bio enzyme is and why it is a better option than chemical cleansers for cleaning purposes. She shared a photograph of herself, posing with a bottle of bio enzyme. Today, she shared another post on her social media page, informing her fans and well-wishers that she has accepted the #GreenIndiaChallenge.

After accepting the challenge from her father-in-law Akkineni Nagarjuna, she planted three saplings. Samantha also nominated three others to take up the challenge, including actresses Rashmika Mandanna and Keerthy Suresh. Along with a few photos on her Instagram page, she wrote, “I've accepted #HaraHaiTohBharaHai #GreenindiaChallenge �� ‪from Nag mama �� I planted 3 saplings. Further I am nominating @keerthysureshofficial @rashmika_mandanna @shilpareddy.official to plant 3 trees & continue the chain special thanks to @MPsantoshtrs garu for taking this initiative. (sic).”

in Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Super Deluxe’ in 2019. Next, she’ll be part of Vignesh Shivan’s 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal', which also has Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in important roles. The film is said to be a romantic comedy and shows a triangular love story between its lead actors. According to earlier reports, the film’s shooting, which has already been delayed due to the pandemic, is expected to start in August.
