It is known that National Award-winning and leading stunt choreographer of Kollywood, Peter Hein, who has worked in different industries, had turned a director with a Vietnamese movie, titled Sam Hoi. Music composer Sam CS is now making his international debut with this project, the story of which, revolves around boxing. The movie, which was announced as an India-Vietnam joint production, had gone on floors a few years ago.

Vietnamese actors Binh Minh and Anh Thu play lead roles in the film, which is expected to hit screens in both India, China and Vietnam. As per the initial plans, the film was supposed to release in 2017. The makers have now announced that movie will hit screens in Vietnam on January 15, 2021.

It is said that Sam Hoi's story is about an ex-boxer, played by Minh, who indulges in dangerous boxing fights to earn money to run his family, which involves his wife (essayed by Thu) and daughter. The project has Indian technicians working on a few departments like sound designing. Peter, who has more than two decades of experience in stunt department, is reported to have said that he was keen on making a film which will be loved by both Indian and Vietnamese audience.
