Sai Pallavi likely to join Dhanush’s next as cop in Rajkumar Periasamy film - Reports

Sai Pallavi is reportedly in talks to play a police officer in Dhanush’s upcoming Tamil film, which is being referred to as his 55th project. The film has already drawn attention for bringing together Dhanush, Mammootty, and Sai Pallavi in a single cast. The makers have not announced her role yet, but reports around the possible cop character have created fresh buzz among fans.

Sai Pallavi’s role in Dhanush’s next

According to Moneycontrol, Sai Pallavi is expected to play the female lead in Dhanush’s 55th Tamil film. The report said industry buzz points to her playing a cop, though an official confirmation is still awaited from the team.

The untitled film is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, who earlier received praise for 'Amaran'. The project is described as an action thriller with a strong cast and a large canvas. Dhanush leads the film, while Mammootty has reportedly joined in a key role.



The report also stated that important scenes featuring Dhanush and Mammootty have already been shot in Chennai. The presence of the two actors, along with Sai Pallavi, has made the film one of the more closely watched Tamil projects in production.

Sai Pallavi returns to South cinema

Sai Pallavi has been busy with 'Ramayana', one of the most discussed films in her lineup. The actress has also been selective with her projects in recent years, taking on fewer films in Telugu and Tamil.
