Kshatriyan's upcoming film is '
Rudra Thandavam
', that has
Richard Rishi playing the lead role. The film, which is a political crime thriller, set in Chennai, especially north Chennai, is all set to hit the screens on 1st October.
Darsha Gupta of Cooku With Comali fame, who is also a famous face on social media is making her debut with the film as the female lead. Interestingly, director Gautham Menon also plays an important role in the film. In the recently released trailer, it was revealed that Richard as a cop fights against drugs issues, Gautham Menon plays a crucial role, and a revelation of a glimpse of his character in the trailer excited the fans.
Like 'Draupathi', 'Rudra Thandavam' is also reportedly based on fictional as well as real-life incidents, and it looks like the director has put light on some serious issues in the film. The story is based on a judgement, and has both fictional and real-life elements.
The film is produced by Mohan's GM Film Corporation in association with 7G Films. 'Draupathi' composer Jubin will be scoring the music for the film, while the cinematography is handled by Farooq J.
