Role call for Vasundhara

Actress Vasundhara Kashyap, whom we have seen so far in serious, rural films, is now all set to surprise us. The actress, known for her performance in films like Poraali and Thenmerku Paruvakkatru, has now been signed on to play the lead opposite Shiva in an untitled film, directed by Krishnan Jayaraj, an associate of Tamizh Padam director C S Amudhan.
Says the actress, ���I was taking a break from films to concentrate on my studies.But when I heard this script, I readily agreed as it is for the first time that I���m getting a chance to do a comedy.���
The film, she says, will be a romantic comedy that will feature Shiva���s brand of deadpan humour.
Shooting for the film kicked off last week and the film is expected to release by December. While Nirav Shah���s assistant Saravanan is handling the camera, T S Suresh is in-charge of editing.
