'RM 34': Ravi Mohan joins director Ganesh Babu for a political drama titled 'Karathey Babu'

Jayam Ravi, aka Ravi Mohan, is one of the popular stars in the South, and he has an interesting lineup with different genres of films. Ravi Mohan has joined hands with director Ganesh K Babu of 'Dada' fame for an upcoming film tentatively titled 'JR 34,' aka 'RM 34,' and the official announcement of the film was made long back. The makers have now unveiled the title teaser of 'RM 34,' and the upcoming film has been titled 'Karathey Babu.'. Jayam Ravi plays the MLA of RK Nagar, Chennai, in the political drama, and the title teaser focusing on a discussion in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly promises an interesting film.


Daudee S Jiwal plays the female lead, while the film has an ensemble star cast that includes Shakthi Vasudevan, K.S. Ravi Kumar, Nasser, Vtv Ganesh, Subramaniam Siva, Kavithalayaa Krishnan, Pradeep Antony, Raja Rani Pandian, Sandeep Raj, and Knife Naren, among others. Sam CS is scoring the music, while the cinematography and editing are handled, respectively, by Ezhil Arasu and Kathiresh Alagesan. The shooting of 'Karathey Babu' is happening firmly, while the makers are yet to decide on the film's release date.

Ravi Mohan recently delivered 'Kadhalikka Nerammillai,' which is directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, and the romantic drama was released for the occasion of Pongal. 'Kadhalikka Nerammillai' received mixed responses to earn average numbers at the box office, and the film is soon to have an OTT release. Ravi Mohan's upcoming films include 'Genie,' 'SK25,' and 'Thani Oruvan 2,' and he is preparing to sign more intriguing films to strike well at the box office.
