was bustling with activity. A host of people were seen running here and there — junior artistes, camera assistants, assistant directors, light men, et al. The last leg of RK Nagar’s shooting was happening there, with Vaibhav dancing to Papara Mittai, composed by the film’s music director Premgi Amaren.

Director Saravana Rajan, who was monitoring the activities, was discussing the next shot with one of his assistants. Choreographer Ajay Raj was with him. Subbu Panchu, who will be seen as a cop in a brief role in the film, was having a conversation with Arvind Akash, who had just visited the set, while Venkat Prabhu and Premgi, who are part of the film’s crew, were quite relaxed.

“This is actually the last day of the shoot,” said Saravana, adding, “The song was planned as a montage, and we had shot it already. But after realising that the number has become a hit on social media, we decided to add a few more shots to it. Many people who loved the song have been shooting their own versions and tagging us on social media.”

The film, according to him, is a pucca commercial flick, with ample dose of action and romance. The movie is based on a real incident. Saravana explains the title, “Though the title evinces curiosity, it actually isn’t a full-fledged political movie. There’s more to it, which forms the suspense element in it. But while we were shooting in areas like

RK Nagar

and

Royapuram

, we got many inputs from the people there, based on which we have made certain changes in the script and dialogues.”
