', which is the Tamil remake of popular Bollywood comedy drama 'Badhaai Ho' is all set to hit the screens on June 17, 2022. Meanwhile, the makers have released the trailer of the film. RJ Balaji, who will be playing Ayushmann Khurrana's role in this film, has written the script and has also co-directed the film with NJ Saravanan, who was also part of his previous film 'Mookuthi Amman'.
The trailer of 'Veetla Vishesham' has been released during the IPL Playoff match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore today (May 25) in Mumbai. Going by the trailer, the film seems like a faithful remake of the original, Badhaai Ho. Sharing the trailer on Twitter, RJ Balaji wrote, "Here’s our #VeetlaVisheshamTrailer !!!."
The plot revolves around a middle-aged couple, who get pregnant, much to the chagrin of their grown-up sons. The Tamil remake titled 'Veetla Visheshanga' has Aparna Balamurali playing Balaji's pair with
Sathyaraj and Oorvashi will be playing his parents in the film. Boney Kapoor, who produced Ajith's Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai is also funding the remake along with Zee Studios and Romeo Pictures as he has the remake right for the film.
