It is known that RJ Balaji is now playing the lead in a film written and directed by another director in Singapore Saloon, which is helmed by Gokul of 'Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara' fame. RJ Balaji turns a hair stylist in the film as the title suggests, and the latest is that the film's shooting has been wrapped up. The film is planned to be released in 2023 Summer.
Sharing a picture collage of himself with beard and moustache and another without those, RJ Balaji posted, "And its a wrap for #SingaporeSaloon ! ❤️In theatres, Summer 2023 !��"
Balaji had earlier revealed that the film will be a comedy drama in Gokul’s style and describes it as “a coming-of-age story of a young man with aspirations”. He plays a hairstylist in the film, and he has apparently trained under hair stylists for one-and-a-half months to play this character.
