Rio Raj's Plan Panni Pannanum to release on September 24

The makers of actor Rio Raj and Ramya Nambeesan's upcoming film 'Plan Panni Pannanum' had earlier announced that the film will release soon, after the Tamilnadu government finally allowed theatres ito open with 50 percent capacity recently. Now, the makers have announced the film's release date. The film directed by 'Baana Kaathadi' and 'Semma Botha Aagathey' fame Badri Venkatesh will hit the screens on September 24.
While the film was earlier planned to hit the screens in April, it got postponed due to the lockdown due to the COVID-19 situation. The film which has Bala Saravanan and Thangadurai in importantroles has been cleared by the Censor Board with a clean 'U' certificate.

While the comedy entertainer has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the film also has Robo Sankar, Naren, Viji Chandrasekar, Rekha, Santhana Bharathi, M S Baskar, Sidharth Vipin and Maarimuthu in supporting roles.

The film has Rio and Ramya playing IT employees. While the former hails from north Madras backdrop, the latter is from a small town. What happens a few days before the day she is supposed to go abroad for an off-shore project forms the crux of the story.
