Rethika Srinivas is back in Kollywood

Theatre artist-actress Rethika Srinivas is excited about bagging plum roles in Kollywood. The actress, who was much appreciated for her performance in Vazhakku Enn 18/9, will soon be seen in Singam 2 and Kazhugoo director Sathyasiva���s next.
Says Rethika, ���In Hari���s sequel to Singam, I will be seen playing Rahman���s wife. And in the other film, I play one of Selvaah���s wives! But, there���s much more to my characters than just being wives to the actors.���
Rethika had taken a break from the theatre and film industry for a while.She says, ���I was getting tired of roles I was being offered. I���m also an entrepreneur, and that had kept me busy. But Balaji Sakthivel���s film gave me a re-entry of sorts. Now, I���m very choosy about my roles. I don���t want to do big films just for the sake of it. Even if it���s a film by a debutant, I want my role to have some meat.���
Meanwhile, Rethika is excited that she will be honoured by a theatre association this month for her contribution.
