The latest report suggests that 'Viruman' might become Karthi's highest day 1 grosser at the box office. The rural drama receives a grand welcome from fans, and the occupancy for the first three shows of the film on day 1 is huge. According to the film’s distributor, 'Viruman' is getting three times higher responses compared to his past films, and the film might surpass all the previous numbers of Karthi in the day 1 collection.
Karthi's 'Kadaikutty Singam', which earned over Rs 11 crores worldwide on its opening day, stands as the best of the actor so far, while 'Viruman' is expected to gross over Rs 14 crores to set a record for the actor.
