Re-recording of Kavin's 'Star' begins; director Elan shares an update

Actor Kavin after 'Dada' will be seen in his next film, 'Star'. Helmed by Elan, who previously directed Harish Kalyan's 'Pyar Prema Kadhal', he took to social media to share a photo of him with music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and actor Kavin, indirectly revealing that the film's re-recording process has begun.
The movie makers have yet to reveal the release plan for the movie. Director Elan, who shared the photo denoting the re-recording process, captioned the image with a thank-you note and expressed his love for Yuvan Shankar Raja.He also appreciated the composer's involvement in the film's music composition.
The movie has got huge hype, and it is said to be a musical treat as the combo of Elan and Yuvan Shankar Raja has once again collaborated. The film's story, as the title suggests, is about a movie star who is at the crux of stardom and how he goes through the difficult part of his career.
'Star' went on floors last year, and it initially had Harish Kalyan playing the lead, and even the poster that was launched had him portraying the looks of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Later, the movie makers announced the change in lead, and actor Kavin is now playing the lead in the film. The movie's cast includes Aaditi N. Pohankar and Preity Mukhundan as female leads, and even the first-look posters of both actresses were launched last month.
