Ravi packs a punch

It was being said that Jayam Ravi���s character in Bhooloham is based on boxer Madan���s life. But director Kalyan clarifies that the film is inspired by certain incidents that occurred in the boxing circuit in Tamil Nadu.
He says, ���The film is not inspired by any particular boxer. Madan, who has won several medals in boxing, is a good friend of mine and has coached Ravi, Trisha and the other boxers in the film.Real boxers from the two prominent boxing generations in Tamil Nadu ��� Idiyappa Naiker Parambarai and Sarpatta Parambarai ��� also feature in the film. Ravi plays a boxer from north Chennai and how he makes it big is what the film���s all about.���
He has roped in boxer-wrestler and Hollywood actor Nathan Jones for the film, and will be shooting with him from the end of this month in Chennai.
Meanwhile, Kalyan is currently filming a song with Ravi and Trisha in the city. ���Both action and romance have equal importance in the film,��� he informs.
