Ravi Mohan and Aarti continue reconciliation efforts as the divorce case gets adjourned to February 15

Actor Ravi Mohan, best known for his role in 'Jayam', filed for divorce from his wife, Aarti, in the Chennai Family Court. The couple, who married in 2009 and have two sons, have been living separately due to differences of opinion. Ravi Mohan, in seeking a divorce, approached the family court to resolve the matter legally. According to Hindu Tamil, the third Family Court judge, after reviewing the case, ordered both parties to attend reconciliation sessions at the mediation center. The couple has been appearing before a mediator multiple times in an attempt to reach an amicable resolution. These mediation sessions are aimed at resolving the differences between the two, but so far, no agreement has been reached.

Yesterday (Jan 18), the divorce case was brought up again before Judge Thenmozhi. Both Ravi Mohan and Arthi appeared separately via video call. During the hearing, the judge noted that reconciliation talks were still ongoing and that the matter would be resolved once those discussions were concluded. The judge then adjourned the case to February 15 for further proceedings, indicating that the divorce case would be heard after the mediation process was completed.

On the work front, Ravi Mohan, who recently returned to using his birth name after his successful career as Jayam Ravi, had a notable Pongal release with 'Kadhalikka Neramillai'. The romantic drama, which hit theatres during the festive season, garnered positive responses from both critics and audiences, marking a successful venture. Following this, Ravi Mohan is set to appear in the upcoming film Genie, a fantasy thriller that is expected to hit the big screens this Summer. In addition to this, the versatile actor has taken a bold step by opting for a negative role in Sudha Kongara's next directorial. This project will feature Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, and Ravi Mohan’s choice of a dark character has created much anticipation around his performance.
