'Rathnam' director Hari reveals his dropped plans for a cinematic universe in 'Singam 3'

Hari is next preparing to deliver 'Rathnam' featuring Vishal in the lead role, and the film is gearing up to release in theaters on April 26. Lokesh Kanagaraj has set a cinematic universe trend by bringing in stars across his directories, and the latest trend is well-liked by fans. But Hari had plans to make a cinematic universe in 2013 itself.
Hari has delivered the respective cop series 'Saamy' and 'Singam' with Vikram and Suriya. In an interview with Cineulagam, Hari revealed that he had a plan to have a sequence where Vikram's Aarusaamy character and Suriya's Durai Singam character meet up in 'Singam 3'. But he failed to make it happen for some reason, and it would have been a blast in theaters if he went according to his plan.
