Rakul reveals her ‘first look’ in Marjaavaan

She has literally been jumping sets! After wrapping up Suriya’s NGK with Selvaraghavan in Chennai a few days ago, Rakul Preet has joined the team of her next Hindi film in Mumbai. She is presently shooting in Mumbai for Marjaavaan, in which she’s paired with Sidharth Malhotra.
Recently, the actress took to Instagram to reveal the ‘first look’ of her character in the film, which is being directed by Milap Milan Zaveri.She posted, “First look ( literally) from #marjaavaan.. January Ka mahina daaku haseena.. dialogue credit to my filmy director @milapzaveri @sidmalhotra @tarasutaria__ #shootdiaries #mumbai @mehakoberoi @thetyagiakshay.” (sic)
Talking about the film, Rakul had told us, “My role in Marjaavaan is very unique. I was shooting for my film with Ajay Devgn and had texted director Milap Milan Zaveri for something else. But he told me that he wanted to give me a narration and that he wanted to do it in person. When I heard him, I instantly loved the story. It’s a powerful role, something that I didn’t visualise myself in. In fact, what I loved about the role is that my character has a lot of powerful dialogues to deliver. Milap’s heroes usually have some amazing dialogues in the films, but in this, even I have a lot of dialoguebaazi.”
The film is said to be an action thriller, and also has Riteish Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria in the lead. This is the second time Rakul is teaming up with Sidharth, after Aiyaary.
