Shankar and Kamal Hassan's magnum opus 'Indian 2' kick-started the shooting earlier in January but was stopped suddenly due to some reasons best known to the makers. Now, the film is all set to go on floors in a few days and director Shankar revealed that two more female leads Aishwarya Rajesh and
Priya Bhavani Shankar
has been roped in apart from
Kajal Aggarwal.
It is being speculated that director Shankar has approached
Rakul Preet Singh for an important role to star opposite actor Siddharth in 'Indian 2'.
Kamal Haasan will be seen as the old freedom fighter who returns to fight against an alarming condition in modern India.
Produced by Lyca Productions, the shoot will be resumed from August 19. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement on the same. The film also has Siddharth, Vidyut Jamwal,
Delhi Ganesh, and
Nedumudi Venu will also be seen playing pivotal characters. Apart from 'Indian 2', Kamal also has 'Thalaivan Irukkindran' in the pipeline.
