Rajkiran’s next will be a cyberpunk

After playing the lead in Dhanush’s Pa.Paandi, Rajkiran will be seen next in a cyberpunk film. Directed by Ramprakash Rayappa of Tamizhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum fame, the film’s genre will be cyberpunk. “This is a sub-genre of science fiction. The film will focus on our how lives have become high-tech. I had written this script revolving around cyberpunk sometime ago.I thought this will be the best time to do a film on this genre. The first person who came to my mind for this project is Rajkiran sir. Some maybe surprised by our choice, but his presence for a script like this will be the interesting factor. I met him for the narration, and after hearing me out, he clapped his hands. We have begun the pre-production work now and are finalising the rest of the cast,” says Ramprakash, who also informs us that TV star Rakshan will also be a part of this film.
However, Ramprakash’s Suttu Pidikka Utharavu is about to hit the screens — “We are looking at a suitable date for the release,” he tells us, and adds, “The same production that backed Suttu Pidikka Utharavu will be producing my next with Rajkiran.”
