Rajini's gesture for his friend

When it comes to indulging friends, Rajinikanth is one person who goes the whole hog. Recently, the actor dropped in during a re-recording session of the upcoming film Maranthen Mannithen, which is being produced by his good friend and Tollywood star Mohan Babu.
We hear that Mohan Babu had called the Superstar on reaching Chennai and informed him about the film's progress.And, the actor decided to surprise his friend by turning up at maestro Ilaiyaraaja's recording theatre located inside a prominent studio in the city.
Says a source from the film's unit, 'Rajini sir spent some time watching the re-recording session and chatted with Mohan Babu sir, his daughter Lakshmi Manchu, maestro Ilaiyaraaja and the film's director Kumar Nagendra regarding the film. He also praised the film's cinematographer M R Palani Kumaar's work, and wished the team good luck.'
