Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' completes 100 days of filming

Rajinikanth's next release will be 'Vettaiyan', and the Superstar actor has joined forces with director TJ Gnanavel for the film. Begun production in late 2023, 'Vettaiyan' has reached the final stage of production, and the film has now completed 100 days of shooting. A team member of 'Vettaiyan' has shared a picture from the set to confirm the film's 100 successful days of filming. From the latest picture, it looks like the team is filming inside a film city, and it's reportedly a song shoot for the team. An introduction song involving Rajinikanth and a few other main stars of 'Vettaiyan' is being filmed currently, and the film is set to be wrapped up in another few days.


Rajinikanth reportedly plays a cop in 'Vettaiyan' and he will be voicing out for a social cause through his next on-screen avatar. Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and several popular faces are also part of Rajinikanth's film with TJ Gnanavel. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music, while the film is announced to have a grand theatrical release worldwide this August.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has announced to do 'Coolie' under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction and the film shooting is planned to commence in June. So, Rajinikanth will be wrapping up things for 'Vettaiyan' before it to keep himself available for the action drama.
