Talking at the inauguration event of Ulaganayagan’s production house, Raajkamal’s Film International’s new office which also had the unveiling of their guru and late director, K Balachander’s statue, Rajinikanth named the top three films that are his favorites and he often sees.
The three favorite films of the superstar are Hollyfood film
The Godfather
, Sivaji starrer
Thiruvilaiyadal
and
Kamal Haasan's 'Hey Ram', which was also screened. He also added that he has watched
Hey Ram
more than 30-40 times.
Meanwhile, the fans eagerly awaiting the release of Rajinikanth's 'Darbar' directed by AR Murugadoss, which is set to hit the screens for Pongal in 2020. The film features Lady Superstar Nayanthara as the female lead and has Yogi Babu, Jeeva, Nivetha Thomas, Jatin Sarna, Prateik Babbar, Nawab Shah, baby Manasvi Kottachi and others in prominent roles. The motion-poster of 'Darbar' which was released recently was well-received by everyone.
